Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Transport R&D Embedded Software Development team, reporting to the Embedded Software team leader, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Ramp up on embedded software for new DWDM functionalities (DSPs for coherent transmission, Optical Amplifiers, Wavelength Selective Switches, …)
- Contribute to detailed specifications and development tasks definition
- Develop, validate and document Embedded Software for Control and Management / Pluggable Module of the Ekinops360 Packet-Optical Transport System
- Investigate, analyze, correct, and document reported defects
- Work with high level of collaboration, autonomy, and ownership
Profile and skills
You are an autonomous, team player engineer with the following skills and experience:
General
- 5-10 years as an embedded software developer
- Fluent in both English and French (oral, written)
- Agile / Scrum methodology
Technical knowledge
- Low level C (register level and/or APIs)
- Erlang programming
- Embedded Linux (buildroot, yocto, other…), Driver, Switch
- Netcong protocol
- Yang Modelling
- Git/Gitlab
- Nice to have :
- Real time environment (ideally knows Keil Development Tools)
- Microcontroler architecture (NXP or equivalent)
- DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) equipments
- Java
