About us :
We are engineers, scientists and business strategists. We are from many different countries and speak many different languages. We come from diverse cultures and have unique perspectives. Together, we focus on a single goal—we invent breakthrough technologies that transform how the world connects, computes, and communicates.
In Wireless R&D (WR&D), we are working on building the cutting-edge end-to-end prototype systems for 5G NR Sub6/mmW and WLAN. These prototype systems focus on proof of concept and on key feature development in the 5G and WLAN areas. We are looking for a self-starter and motivated individual who wants to take his/her cellular experience to the next level. The candidate will be contributing to key research and development topics in mobile wireless and WLAN. They will be working with world class engineering teams to shape the future of wireless communication.
More specifically, SI&T team members interact closely with Systems engineers, Software/Hardware developers and RF engineers to test and evaluate the end-to-end prototypes. This includes defining testing goals, writing test plans, executing tests, trouble shooting and performing detailed post processing analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in testing, enjoy working in a lab environment, drive testing (Over the Air testing), be proactive, and have a hands-on approach to work assignments.
Prime responsibilities will be System integration and test of L1, L2 and L3 layers. Candidates must have great interest in new technologies and willing to learn. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required and must be able to work well with others in a technical environment. Some travel for tradeshows, demos may be required.
